Yehudis Stokes is an art therapy student at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute (TATI) as well as a PhD student at the University of Ottawa.

While studying full-time, Yehudis continues as an RN at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, working in outpatient neurology, the mental health team, and floating on inpatient units. Her research interests are focused on early-life trauma and on translating trauma-informed and trauma-responsive care from theory into practice. She hopes to integrate her knowledge and experience of art therapy into her nursing research and practice. Yehudis enjoys her continued research involvements, and her community volunteer activities.
