Wilmer John Santos is in his first year of his PhD in Nursing program at the University of Ottawa. He has worked as Registered Nurse in general surgery and hepatobiliary for eight years at the Ottawa Hospital. In addition, he has worked multiple research positions (research assistant at the University of Ottawa and research coordinator at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute) where he contributed to research that advanced knowledge in the field of implementation science and knowledge translation. His research interests are to advance knowledge of facilitation, champions, and the resources required by champions to facilitate change effectively.
