Vonnie Lee is currently in her last semester of the University of Toronto’s Accelerated Nursing Program. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia in Psychology and Health,
she worked as a research coordinator at a multidisciplinary clinic providing specialized clinical care for people living with HIV/AIDS. Recognizing the complex challenges prevalent in marginalized populations, Vonnie has focused her time and interest in volunteering with advocacy groups and organizations addressing the needs of Indigenous, LGBTQ2S+, and BIPOC communities. She aspires to pursue a career in healthcare to provide low-barrier, on-demand care through community outreach nursing services.
