Tracy Pittman is an Inuk woman andmother from Northern Newfoundland,with roots in Southern Labrador.
She has worked in healthcare from Toronto to the Arctic. Currently a Registered Midwife, Tracy is also a BScN student at the University of Toronto. Interested in women’s and Indigenous health, interdisciplinary collaboration, and policies which advance the safety of our health systems, Tracy hopes to enhance her skills and expertise in women’s health across the lifespan, from young womanhood, to caring for our Elders. She is a strong advocate for Indigenous women’s rights, and high quality, culturally safe, respectful health care, for rural, northern, and Indigenous communities.
