Tiina Ranta is a registered nurse and PhD candidate in Nursing at York University. She specializes in community health nursing and harm reduction. With over a decade of experience, she has held leadership roles in mental health and addiction services across Canada, focusing on harm reduction. Her research examines societal perceptions of safe consumption sites and strategies for community acceptance through posthumanist perspectives that aim to enhance coexistence.
