As a paediatric nurse at McMasterChildren’s Hospital Tharshika Sugumarangreatly enjoys working with children and theirfamilies, and advocating for their needs.

She has continuously sought to further her knowledge and advance her nursing profession through various opportunities. Currently Tharshika is completing a thesis-based MN exploring the impact of diabetes coaching on community-based adults who have Type 2 diabetes. Upon completing her studies, she hopes to investigate new areas of nursing including research and clinical education.
