Shauna is continuing her education at the University of Toronto in the BScN program. She has been actively involved in the faculty as a research-assistant and a student council ‘Globally-Interested-Nurse’. Her interest in Quality Improvement work was sparked during her community placement, and she now works as an Institute-for-Healthcare Improvement team-lead, supervising an inter-professional team of students to help facilitate client access and equity. In the future, Shauna hopes to be involved in various research, teaching and education opportunities to advance nursing practice and promote quality care. She is interested in pursuing a MN/NP-degree and eventually teaching within the Bloomberg Faculty.
