Sharmila Koirala is an RPN at Sunnybrook Hospital’s Veterans and Palliative Care Center and a student in the BScN program at York University. Working in palliative care and with the elderly, she strives to be a leading voice in the field to make a difference to end-of-life nursing care using evidence-based practices. Sharmila strongly believes in equitable healthcare and is deeply passionate about delivering care in underserved settings.

Practicing yoga and mindfulness, Sharmila believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
