Shannon is currently in senior year of a second entry nursing program at the University of Toronto. Before entering the program, she completed an HBSc in biology and zoology. Shannon was a chairperson on the CNSA Regional Conference planning committee and was actively involved in planning a successful conference that was held in Toronto, October 2011. At her faculty, Shannon works as a research assistant, volunteer note-taker and a mentor for first year students. Her passion for nursing continues to grow with every lecture and clinical placement. Upon graduation, she hopes to practice in oncology or cardiac critical care.
