Shahnaz Kamali is enrolled in the Master of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program (Primary Health Care – Global Health Emphasis) and pursuing a Collaborative Specialization in Gender and Women’s Health at the University of Toronto.
Shahnaz is motivated to offer compassionate, culturally competent, and holistic evidence-based care, mainly through primary prevention, health promotion, and structured treatment management. Shahnaz is also passionate about nursing leadership to promote and advocate for changes to improve public policy. Her long-term goal is to advocate for health justice and promote the delivery of culturally-informed, equitable, and unbiased care to support the health of global communities.
