With an honours BSc in Kinesiology, Senura Jayatunge has returned toMcMaster University, and is in his firstyear of the basic-accelerated BScN program.

His experience working in and taking on a leadership role providing emergency prehospital care with the Canadian Forces and McMaster’s Emergency First Response Team led him to choose nursing as a profession. After graduating, he hopes to work as a nurse in acute settings, remote areas of Canada, and develop the necessary skills to become a leader in nursing.
