Sarah Xiao, Dr. Hildegard E. Peplau Award (MHNIG)

Sarah Xiao is a third-year PhD student in Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto.

Her research interests are in nursing process indicators and healthcare quality measurement in mental healthcare settings. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, Sarah was involved in best practice guideline development and quality improvement initiatives in nursing. With her PhD, Sarah plans to develop a research program with the goal of improving the quality and delivery of mental healthcare services.
