Samantha Valuck is a second-year nursing student enrolled in the BScN program at Western University.

Before pursuing nursing, Samantha obtained a Music Diploma from Grant MacEwan University and worked with children for nine years as a private piano instructor. She also worked with marginalized populations through a non-profit as a financial support worker. In 2019, her son was hospitalized in the Children’s Hospital at LHSC; it was here that Samantha began dreaming of a career in paediatric nursing.

Samantha continues to work hard towards her RN designation and hopes to return to London’s Children’s Hospital, where she can continue to work with and care for children.
