Reese Olsthoorn is enrolled in the MN, NP Adult Program at U of T.

As a proud immigrant, Reese is cognizant of the privileges of living in Canada, and takes every opportunity to give back to her community. Caring for under-served populations has become her niche, and reason why she chosen to share her expertise in communities where resources are limited. Reese’s goals post-graduation include building patient survivorship and family support programs for patients with acute leukemia living in remote areas, preventing and overcoming modifiable factors that lead to poor health outcomes through education, and advocating for policies and resources to empower local communities.
