Raluca Vela is a Registered Nurse who works in cardiac surgery and medicine. She is also pursuing a Master’s of Science (MSc) in Nursing at McMaster University (thesis-stream).
Raluca is passionate about learning how research methods can identify, creatively design, and evaluate interventions to improve the quality of patient care within health systems. Her research interests include patient self-optimization strategies for diabetes care in real-world settings through program development and health coaching.
