Ola Abanta Thomas Obewu  is a Master of Nursing Student at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she also works as a Research and Teaching Assistant.

Ola’s passion and interests center on social justice, health equity, Black health, continuous learning, and leadership development for nursing students. Ola’s dedication to community building and health justice is reflected in her engagement in initiatives and programs that empower nursing students, promote societal inclusivity, amplify marginalized voices, and improve care for marginalized communities in our society.
