Nomina Lakhani is a first year BScN, Spec. Hons. Nursing Student (IEN) at York University. She aims to become a Cardiovascular Nurse. She has worked both in acute medicine and the community care setting for many years. During her nursing career, she has developed a strong interest and deep passion for focusing on safe and effective patient-centered care.

Her volunteer experiences include working with senior citizens in her community and being involved in many of their events and activities. She has also volunteered with St. Joseph Health Centre and Humber River Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
