Nida Shamsi is a third-year student at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Collaborative BScN program. She holds a prior Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto. Nida has completed her pediatric clinical rotation at SickKids in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging in MRI and CT. She is currently completing her mental health rotation at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences in the Integrated Community Access Program in Crisis and Central Intake.
Nida is employed as a Clinical Extern at Scarborough Health Network in the Intensive Care Unit. She is passionate about critical care, oncology nursing research, women’s health, health promotion, and trauma-informed care.
