Nelly Dumchin is a first-year PhD student at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto, and a Nurse Practitioner in the neuropsychiatry clinic and geriatric psychiatry consultation-liaison service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Nelly’s research interests include neuroscience and geriatric oncology nursing.
In her doctoral work, she plans to conduct a mixed-methods study to explore the cognitive outcomes and predictors of memory and functional decline in older adults with dementia starting active cancer treatment.
