Melissa Northwood is PhD Studentat McMaster University and a communitynurse whose clinical work is focused onpromoting continence in older adults.

Melissa’s current research interests include understanding the complexity of delivering care in the home care setting and identifying community-based nursing interventions to improve care for older adults with multiple chronic conditions, specifically those managing diabetes.
