McKenna Thompson-McCormick completed the RPN Bridge Semester in the spring of 2024, and advanced into the 3rd year of the Honour’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in the fall. McKenna has been an RPN in Ontario since 2022 and has been primarily working in the long-term care environment since. McKenna enjoys connecting with her patients and providing holistic care. She hopes to continue to be a positive influence in healthcare in the future. She looks forward to expanding her nursing scope of practice, and experiencing both new environments and experiences after graduation.
