Mary Smith has been an RN since 1991, and has completed the PHC-NP program, and her MScN. As a PhD student at the University of Victoria, Mary’s current research involves indigenous content within the Ontario Nurse Practitioner programs and First Nation experiences with kidney disease and organ donation. Presently she works at the Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care in Penetanguishene as a Nurse Practitioner and is an Adjunct Professor for the Ontario Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program through Queen’s University.
