Lisa Coverdale is currently enrolled in the Post Diploma BScN program at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is employed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Mental Health unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre.

Lisa is passionate about supporting optimal outcomes for those living with a mental health condition and is a strong patient advocate. She is interested in areas of research with a focus on trauma informed care, health promotion, and social justice. Lisa has a variety of certificates to supplement her education including: Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Working with Co-occurring Disorders, Situation Table, and Brief Action Planning. Her long-term goal is to further her education with a Masters of Nursing and pursue clinical education to assist future nurses.
