Linda MacDougall has been an RN for over 35 years working in acute care, critical care, Public Health and education, holding positions as a staff nurse, Public Health Nurse, Health Consultant, Supervisor and Educator.
With her RN Diploma from St. Clair College, her BScN from Western and an MEd from the University of Toronto, Linda is currently pursuing her PhD at Western with a focus on the relational variables impacting socialization in the healthcare team. Linda believes that interprofessional conflict contains the variable of shame. Bringing shame into the foreground to take its place beside bullying and incivility may broaden the lens from which we view the working life within health care teams.
