Laura is a first year student in the RPN to RN bridging program offered through Centennial College and Ryerson University. She is a life-long learner who is always ready to take on new experiences and challenges. During her practical nursing program (completed in August 2011) she participated in a life changing experience on a nursing outreach trip to Kingston, Jamaica, where the team provided health teaching, basic nursing care, ran a health fair, and provided donated medications and other medical supplies.
