Larkin Davenport Huyer is completing her second year of University of Toronto (UofT) Nursing program. Prior to this program Larkin completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at Queen’s University.
After completing her MPH and starting her work in research, Larkin felt a desire to match her upstream knowledge of our health system with a clinical perspective, specifically a perspective in nursing. Following graduation Larkin is interested in working at a community health center concurrent with ongoing nursing research and has future aspirations to work with the government.n nOutside of school, Larkin has been involved with the Trauma-Informed Care Collective, Raw Talk Podcast, and and the Interprofessional Medical and Allied Groups for Improving Neighbourhood Environments (IMAGINE) Clinic at UofT. Larkin loves to be outdoors, cooking, and an avid dog lover.
