Kayleigh Tyrer is a third year BScN student at the Brock University with clinical interest in maternal-child nursing. She was a successful Match of Minds recipient of a research assistant employment grant through Brock University last summer. This dynamic opportunity fostered a deep interest in conducting simulation-based Nursing Education research. She ultimately hopes to obtain a PhD and become a Nursing Professor. Kayleigh hopes to make a difference in Nursing Education by developing effective teaching strategies that involve the use of simulation, technology, and student-focused learning.
