Katherine is a third year nursing student at Ryerson University. Before she embarked on a career in nursing, Katherine completed a Bachelor of Education degree and gained extensive experience working with children in diverse settings both in Canada and overseas. Her contact with nurses and patients during a recent placement at Sick Kids has inspired a strong interest in pediatric nursing. Katherine hopes to work in pediatric nursing and continue her studies at a graduate level.
