Juels McGuire is a Registered Practical Nurse currently studying with Nipissing University to receive a BScN. She entered health care as an Environmental Aide at Hamilton Health Sciences and pursued her medical terminology certification through night classes, allowing her to advance into a ward clerk position.
Juels now nurses in a remote Northern Ontario community on an Acute Medicine unit, refining her nursing and caregiving skills. She brings excellent communication and emphasizes the importance of health teaching with her patients. Her long-term goals are to positively impact change and make a significant impact in nursing and medical care delivery to minority and marginalized populations. Juels is a firm believer and strongly advocates that everyone deserves access to equitable health care.
