Jennifer Cano is a student in University of Toronto’s BScN program.
She completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Health Sciences at University of Ottawa, writing her MSc thesis on women’s reproductive and sexual health services in northern regions of Canada. She spent two years working as a Public Health Coordinator with a First Nations organization in Northwestern Ontario. Her volunteer experiences include working on mental health crisis lines and as a certified Canadian Ski Patroller; she currently volunteers with the Toronto Distress Centre. In her spare time she enjoys running, cycling, and cross-country skiing.
