Jack Liang, a fourth-year nursing student at Western University, is well-known for his dedicated involvement in leadership, advocacy, and mentorship.
Jack has been an active member of the Western-Fanshawe Nursing Students’ Association throughout his degree, culminating in his election as President in the 2022-2023 term. Under his leadership, the Association established over $70,000 in bursaries for equity-deserving groups, influenced curricular changes for future students, and strengthened the presence of nursing at Western University.
Currently serving as the Student Experience Coordinator for the University Students’ Council, Jack has helped author policy papers for experiential learning and mental health reform, forwarded menstrual equity, and promoted LGBTQ+ safety and inclusion.
