Hugh-Roy Hanson is a proud Jamaican-Canadian nursing student in the Toronto Metropolitan University and George Brown College Collaborative Nursing Program. He’s been consistently named on the Dean’s List and is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Inspired by personal experiences supporting loved ones through cancer, Hugh-Roy desires to pursue a career in oncology nursing where he can make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families facing cancer. He’s especially committed to advocating for marginalized communities and making healthcare more inclusive.
