Heather Lithgow is a nursing leader with clinical experience caring for surgical patients from preadmission to the OR, currently completing her MN at Ryerson University focusing in nursing leader-ship, education, and health policy. Heather has also achieved her Certification in Peri-Operative Nursing [CPN(C)]. Her strong commit-ment to professional development is demonstrated through her participation in RNAO, ORNAC – where she is on the Executive, and ORNGT – where she is Program Convener. Heather has also been a presenter at ORNAC national conferences highlighting innovative patient care and nurse sensitive indicators.
