My name is Evelyn Sepulveda, and I am a student in the IEPN program at Centennial College, in the process to graduating in August 2025. Returning to nursing after 13 years of experience in the surgical room has been a renewed vow in a second marriage with the profession. I’ve met incredible classmates from around the world, all with the strongest passion for nursing care. This year, being recognized with an award reminded me that it’s never too late to grow. I am motivated to become a better nurse and advocate for compassionate, inclusive, and safe care for every patient I serve.
