Erin Murphy is in the final year of her RPN to BScN degree at Trent, and works in high-tolerance rehabilitation at Baycrest Hospital.

Originally from New Brunswick, Erin has held RPN positions in acute care and rehabilitative care, and feels strongly about empowering patients to better manage their healthcare transitions. Erin is passionate about strong leadership in nursing, and was the lead nursing student for Mt. Sinai Hospital’s first Inflammatory Bowel Disease Awareness Week in November, 2018. Additionally, she appreciates how bedside nursing provides opportunities to provide culturally safe patient care; she is a strong advocate for the integration of this awareness in health care.
