Daniel Law, Mary Brunning Harkin Scholarship

Daniel Law is currently in the final year of the BScN Program at York University. Built on his passion for leadership and community engagement, he currently serves as a Founding Director for Book Chest, where he promotes the importance of childhood literacy in Toronto’s high-needs neighbourhoods. In addition to his full-time nursing studies, he is also engaged in extra-curricular leadership, volunteering and research commitments related to care for the elderly. Inspired by influential researchers and his work in population health endeavors, Daniel hopes to pursue graduate level nursing studies that will help him continue to make valuable contributions to Ontario’s nursing profession.
