Danica Nogo is a final-year student in the accelerated Second-Entry BScN program at York University. With a background in neuroscience and biomedical toxicology, she is dedicated to bridging research and clinical practice to enhance patient care. She has extensive research experience, with publications in JAMA Psychiatry and other peer-reviewed journals – alongside comprehensive clinical placements. Passionate about evidence-based and compassionate care, she is actively involved in advocacy, harm reduction, and leadership initiatives. After graduation, Danica aims to work in intensive care or trauma nursing, while pursuing education in research and policy development.
