Constance is a first-year student in the Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner (Primary Health Care and Global Health emphasis) program at the University of Toronto. She has been fortunate to have practiced as a pediatric nurse in a variety of settings, including inpatient medicine and intensive care units, as well as in public health. Her pursuit of this new career stems from a commitment to continued professional development and is rooted in a passion for accessible primary health care. Constance has been a member of PedNIG since 2020 and is sincerely thankful to be a 2024 recipient of this award and for their continued support. In 2023, Constance was the recipient of a PedNIG professional development bursary that supported her pursuit to attain her Canadian Nurses’ Association Certification in Pediatric Nursing.
