As a Perinatal Consultant with the Champlain Maternal Newborn Regional Program, Christina Cantin contributes to the promotion of optimum perinatal care by sharing her skills and knowledge with perinatal colleagues at the local, regional, provincial and national levels. Focusing on perinatal mental health and substance use as the direction of her doctoral studies at Queen’s University, Ms. Cantin will partner with various health care organizations to promote evidence-based practices.

With a passion for continued education, Ms. Cantin has maintained Perinatal Nursing Certification since 2005 and completed an Advanced Clinical Practice Fellowship with the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario.
