Catherine Larocque, Jennifer Award

Catherine Larocque is a fourth year undergraduate nursing student at the University of Ottawa.

Throughout her degree, she has been extensively involved in research initiatives at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) focusing on improvements in neonatal pain management and knowledge translation. She is also a student mentor and serves as the vice-president of the Nursing Student Volunteer Network. Upon graduation, Catherine intends to continue to contribute to the profession of nursing by pursuing her passion for research through an MScN (thesis option) and eventually her PhD.
