Cassondra Kahrs began her healthcare professional journey by working as a PSW after completing her 1st year of the practical nursing program.

After getting her RPN, she worked in a hospital for five years, gaining experience in complex continuing care, medicine, oncology, and Med/Surg. She then transferred to become a palliative home care nurse, which was her passion. After gaining additional education in palliative care, she applied to Trent University, where she is currently completing her BScN in the compressed program.
