Cassandra Canales is an RPN at The Scarborough Hospital specializing in Cardiology. Cassandra’s interests include leadership in health policy and initiatives for health promotion. She strives to make a difference within these fields through collaboration and partnership with organizations such as Heart & Stroke and TGLN. She is pursuing her BSCN at UOIT now, and plans to undertake graduate studies to become a Nurse Practitioner. Cassandra hopes to travel abroad to explore the cultural diversity within the profession, while continuing to demonstrate excellence in clinical and administrative roles.
