Carly Whitmore, Dorothy Ferguson Scholarship

Carly Whitmore is a Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Registered Nurse who works for St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton as an educator.

She obtained her BScN from Trent University and is pursuing her MScN at McMaster University where she is investigating the transition to practice of new graduate Registered and Registered Practical Nurses. Carly credits her passion for working with new graduate nurses to her experiences with the Canadian Nursing Students Association. In addition to her various professional activities and her love for educating new nurses, Carly likes to spend time outdoors.
