Cara is a second year Master of Nursing student at Toronto Metropolitan University. Cara is passionate about providing high quality patient care and education for pediatric patients and families. Cara has been a nurse for 10 years. She currently works as a Congenital Hand Nurse Coordinator in the Plastic Surgery clinic at the Hospital for Sick Children. In this role, her focus is on quality improvement initiatives which increase access to care for pediatric patients and families. Her goal is to become a Clinical Nurse Specialist to aid children with congenital hand differences.
