Arnel is a Registered Practical Nurse in a Long-Term Care facility pursuing his Bachelor of Science for Internationally Educated Nurses, Honours Degree, at York University. He is a member of the Faculty of Health Dean’s Honour Roll, 2010-2011 academic sessions. He has a Canadian equivalency of Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and two-year post-graduate studies earned from the Philippines. He plans to finish his Certificate in Health Informatics from York University before taking up his Master’s Degree and eventually, his PhD. His nursing passion is to serve the poor, marginalized, and vulnerable sectors in our society.
