With a BSc in biology from McMaster University and an MSc from University of Western Ontario, Amanda McIntyre is currently finishing her first year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. She currently works with the London Health Research Institute at St. Joseph’s Parkwood hospital, conducting research on those with acquired brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. Amanda is looking forward to completing her second undergraduate degree in anticipation of working in emergency medicine, while still pursuing her research endeavours. In her spare time she plays volleyball and soccer, and teaches piano.
