Aliya is currently in her second year of the Masters in Nursing / Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Toronto. She has been working in Pediatric Oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children for the past six years, and brings with her a rich nursing background. Aliya has been actively engaged in her work community, both amongst committees, as a Clinical Support Nurse, and through precepting and mentoring. Aliya is passionate about children’s health and safety, and hopes to practice in an acute care setting upon graduation and registration in the Summer of 2013.
