Alisha D’souza is a student in the MN – Leadership in Professional Nursing Practice program at Western University and a Registered Nurse at the Hospital for Sick Children in Multiorgan Transplant and Medical Specialties. Alisha is passionate about transition to practice and child/youth health, These passions are prioritized in her advocacy and policy efforts with numerous local and national organizations, including the Canadian Nursing Students Association and UNICEF Canada. Alisha hopes to continue her work in policy and program development to better the experiences of families in the healthcare system and new nurses as they start their careers. In her free time, Alisha loves making music!
