Tanya Thompson is a Registered Nurse, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Certified Diabetes Educator.  She is employed full-time as a diabetes nurse educator at Maitland Valley Family Health Team, in the town of Goderich, on the west coast of Lake Huron. She is passionate about educating those living with diabetes, and genuinely believes that, with support, people will have better health outcomes and feel empowered to persevere.  When she is not working, Tanya enjoys hiking, biking and bouldering.  Connect with her @rntanyat
