The winners of 5 new programs receiving a total of $122,000 of support were announced at the RNFOO Nurse Innovator Award Reception held on November 7, 2023. The celebration focused on these recipients, but also included the previous award winners, the Founding Donors, the Friends & Supporters and the contributions to nursing made by this initiative. We are happy to announce that a video describing each of the NIA award-winning programs is now available.
The RNFOO Board is grateful to all of the individuals and organizations that contributed to the success of the program. More than $400,000 has been awarded to 19 nursing innovation projects. As noted by one of the guests at the RNFOO Nurse Innovator Award Reception “Innovation is alive and thriving in nursing, and Ontario is benefitting”.
